Family pension Vila Alena lies in the tranquil area of east Krkonoše in the highest situated village of Krkonoše Horní Malá Úpa (alt. 1050 m.). Vila Alena is located in the peaceful and quiet place of Horní Malá Úpa. Thanks to its position with the outlook on the majestic and highest mountain of Czech Republic, (SNĚŽKA 1602m and ČERNA HORA) it is hugely popular by our guests, who find here real family tranquillity and feel maximum comfort as at home.
Rooms are equipped with TV + SAT and have newly refurbished bathrooms with a shower, a laver and a loo. Pension Vila Alena is a duplex property. Each floor contains new, fully equipped kitchen. Vila Alena offers possibility of self-catering as well as half boarding or breakfasts only.

Skiing possibilities
Scooter hire
Newly opened scooter rental shop is located within a walking distance from our guesthouse. Scooters are allotted for adrenaline sportsmen, but can be used by families for smaller trips. All scooters are equipped with the break system that is similar to any road or mountain bike breaks. Rental shop will also provide advises and suggestions about possible local trips.
Aqua park in Karpacz
20km away from the Czech-Polish border, in the small Polish town called Karpacz, an aqua park is based in the hotel Sandra. Aqua park has a 25m long swimming pool, and also pool with artificial waves and wild river. As a matter of course are outdoor and indoor jacuzzi, sauna and toboggans for kids and adults. For the smallest ones aqua park also offers a slide, paddling pool, and many more attractions for all ages.
All day entrance fee is 55zl for adults and 40zl for kids.
Multipurpose playground
Newly opened is multipurpose playground with artificial surface right in the centre of Mala Upa. The playground is designed for ball games such as tennis, volleyball, and small football. The surface is also comfortable for in-lining and roller-blading.
